"My
name is Taluana. I have spent the last 6 years healing my life and
this is the most significant education I have and is what have brought
me here.
My journey has led me to healers of many traditions and countless
hours of inner and outer studying. During this journey I was lucky to
work in a holistic health centre where I had close contact with many
natural practices such as western herbalism, naturopathy and
homeopathy. I’ve learned so much on this path of self-healing that I
realised that I could help others on this path too and this is when I
decided to formally study the human nature, the environment and
traditional healing methods. I discovered Ayurveda and found myself in
it.
My journey then took me into the heart of professional healing itself
as I became a qualified Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist with improved
pulse reading skills, and then a certified Yoga instructor.
I have over 2 years of professional experience as an Ayurveda/Yoga
consultant and therapist. I have furthered my studies and now I am
also a certified Marma therapist. I continue to document and case
study - no amount of studying hours would be enough to cover the
uniqueness of each individual. I believe that looking after someone’s
health is something so important and delicate that the education that
gives the foundation for it should never end."
Talu’s
Dharma, or goal of life, is to help others active their highest
potential. She has found in Ayurveda and Yoga the empowerment necessary for
that and can guide the patient through this journey of remembering our
true nature as pure consciousness.
Charaka,
the author of the Caraka Samhita - one of the classical Ayurvedic
texts, says that by practicing out of love and caring for others, the
essence of the practitioner is able to touch the Soul of the patient.
This is considered to be completely effective Ayurveda.
Taluana's
program
involves tact, diplomacy, positivity, warmth, concern and carefully
listening, respecting the Divine within the patient, allowing them to
listen to their own intuition and arrive at their own choices,
increasing their own self-worth, so that they will have more faith in
the process and thus more easily follow the Ayurvedic/Yogic way.
Patients’ personal and spiritual life is respected and the
consultations are kept confidential.
